Andrew Tate, PA-C, is a physician assistant caring for surgical patients in Vancouver. He assists doctors with emergency medicine and general surgery. He has experience recognizing and treating a wide range of sudden illnesses and injuries.

Andrew focuses on helping patients understand their care options and prepare for surgery, if needed. His background in emergency medicine allows him to respond quickly and calmly to patients with unexpected traumatic injuries, such as from car accidents, falls or heart blockages.

Andrew completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Central Arkansas and earned his physician assistant training at Nova Southeastern University in Jacksonville, Fla.

Andrew believes every patient deserves dignity and respect. He strives to offer the same advice and care he would give to a close family member.

Outside of work, Andrew enjoys exploring the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest. He also has interests in technology, billiards, and aviation, and he holds a commercial pilot’s license.
