Ella Collins, PA-C, is part of the cardiothoracic surgery team serving patients in Bellingham and Lynden. She works closely with patients and care teams to support heart and lung health through surgical care.

Ella specializes in cardiothoracic surgery, which involves treating conditions of the heart, lungs, and chest. She focuses on clear communication and a team-based approach to help patients feel informed and supported throughout their care.

She completed elective clinical rotations in cardiothoracic surgery and cardiology during her physician assistant training. Before becoming a PA, she worked in a cardiovascular lab and completed a master’s thesis on pacemaker guidelines for patients with sinus node dysfunction.

Ella values patient-centered care and believes in building strong relationships with patients and colleagues. She strives to ensure every patient understands their treatment options and feels confident in their care plan.

Outside of work, Ella enjoys hiking, gardening, and crafting, especially knitting. She also loves spending time with her fiancé.
