Melissa J. Zorij PAC

Melissa Zorij, PAC, is a cardiovascular surgery clinician caring for patients in Vancouver, Wash. She works closely with the surgical team to support patients before, during and after heart procedures.

Melissa specializes in cardiovascular surgery, which focuses on treating conditions that affect the heart and major blood vessels. She helps patients understand their treatment options and supports them through every step of their surgical journey.

She completed her undergraduate education at Drexel University in Philadelphia and earned her graduate degree at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York. Before joining PeaceHealth in 2020, she gained experience in vascular and thoracic surgery at Adventist Health.

Melissa believes patients are never just a diagnosis or a number. She values clear communication, education and genuine connection to help patients feel informed and supported.

Outside of work, Melissa enjoys exploring the Pacific Northwest, hiking with her family and reading.
