Michael Lallemand, MD, is a board-certified trauma and acute care surgeon. He specializes in trauma surgery and emergency general surgery.

Dr. Lallemand has extensive trauma experience. He earned his medical degree from the Uniformed Services University in Bethesda, MD. He was a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army Medical Corps. Dr. Lallemand served in combat surgical roles in Kuwait and Syria.

Prior to joining PeaceHealth, Dr. Lallemand served as Quality Medical Director for the trauma service line at Oregon Health & Science University Hospital in Portland, OR. He also held faculty appointments in the division of trauma and acute care surgery. Dr. Lallemand has authored more than a dozen peer-reviewed articles. He has also contributed book chapters on abdominal trauma and damage control surgery.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Lallemand enjoys spending time with his family and staying active outdoors.
