PeaceHealth Sacred Heart OFNHP Acute Care Professionals
 

On Aug. 20 and 21, PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center and Oregon Federation of Nurses and Healthcare Professionals (OFNHP) resumed negotiations on a contract for PeaceHealth Sacred Heart acute care professionals in collaborative and professional bargaining sessions.

PeaceHealth appreciated the respectful discussion and OFNHP’s continued engagement. We had thoughtful, collaborative conversations on a number of topics including categories of employees; employer rights; just cause, discipline and discharge; grievance procedure; job postings; seniority; layoffs; subcontracting; general provisions; and terms of agreement. This progress helped move us closer to agreement on non-economic parts of the contract.

We recognize how important this contract is to you, and we pledge to bargain in good faith as we work toward an agreement. We look forward to continuing these constructive conversations at our next bargaining sessions Sept. 8-11 and Sept. 23-25.
